We are Jake Johnson and Katie Densberger. We met during college in Illinois, where we're both from, and moved to Waynesboro, Virginia in 2014. We've been married since 2008.
Jake is an accomplished ceramic artist who works out of Make Waynesboro Clay Studio, as well as a small home studio. He sells his work through art fairs, galleries, and an online shop. Jake has been working in ceramics since 2002. He earned an MFA in ceramics from Penn State, a top-ten clay program, and he has taught university classes and workshops. His work is in galleries and collections across the country, and has been included in more than 50 juried and invitational exhibitions. He has been featured in Clay Times, the Lark Books 500 series, and Virginia Living. Visit jakesclayart.com to learn more about Jake's work, see a list of fairs and galleries, or make a purchase.
